What took me away first by this image was the fur - the hood and tail. I also like the hair too, I think I'm a sucker for hair poking out a hood.

The square-y texture you used over it looks great, but a little distorting. Perhaps I would look better kept in the background, or on a different style of picture. It makes it a little hard to see the textures you used.

Your style is gorgeous. I love the sorta quick but detailed style, makes it look like a proper painting. I like how it still looks a little rough round the sides, and the amount of details you put into the other parts (like the face and gloves)

His design looks great, and very unique for an arcanine, although admittedly I thought he was a mightyena at first due to the patterns on his face. And the darkness of the clothes.

I also love the hands, I'm not sure if it was intentional but the way you shaed them makes them look kinda like claws.
